Age can be a benefit if you use it to your advantage, We cater to entry-level positions which are typically younger people. For individuals who want to transition their career into the tech field, tech sales is a good place to start. With this being a self-enrolled course, we do not track the age of our students. It is important to have good verbal and written communication skills, be somewhat tech-savvy, and be very motivated. We will teach you the technology sales skills you need to know, but it is up to you to do well on your final exam. With age comes life experience, so that could be a benefit. If you do have any sales experience, that would also benefit you. You should know your way around a computer and be able to learn how to use new software applications.

We do not place people or get people jobs. We teach the sales technology skills employers want and we teach our students how to market themselves on LinkedIn, how to prepare their resumes, how to interview, and how to get interviews.

Every individual possesses unique strengths and weaknesses. Age, like any other attribute, should be presented as a strength when marketing yourself. With age often comes stability, dependability, and wisdom. However, it's ultimately up to each company to determine the significance of age in their hiring decisions.

A little. Companies have a slight preference towards hiring younger people since entry-level positions and internships have been commonly held by recent college grads. This doesn’t mean that you can’t land a tech sales position if you’re in your 40 or 50s, but it will just be slightly more difficult.

In the totality of things, it will be easy for you to overcome if you’re motivated, willing to learn, and put in the effort to complete the course.

So don't think your age will hold you back from working in tech sales if you're motivated."
