I would like general information on how the courses work

Updated October 25, 2026

CourseCareers has self-paced courses that you can start and finish at any time. Our courses prepare you for entry-level jobs in the career path you choose. Some students are full-time and some are part-time. As long as you have paid in full, you will have ongoing course access.

As soon as you enroll in the course, you will also have access to our student Discord community to network with everyone in the course 24 hours a day. Your peers will be there to help you along the way, answer questions, give advice, and give moral support. Students can also search the Discord channel for previously shared information and answers to questions. Note that if you DM your instructor, it is up to the instructor whether or not they reply to direct messaging.

Every lesson in every course includes Coura, our AI tutor, to help you understand the course material. If you need additional help beyond Coura and your fellow students, you can hire a coach from our list of coaches to help you along the way. Coaches host live workshops for many courses: most are free, some coaches may charge for one, and you never have to pay for a workshop to finish your course. You can also book one-on-one coaching with industry professionals, an optional paid add-on priced by each coach. Learn more about coaching. If you have unanswered questions, you can search this Help Center, ask our support assistant, or email our support team at support@coursecareers.com.

Courses are either a one-time payment of $499 or 4 bi-weekly (every two weeks) payments of $150. We have a 14-day refund policy. After 14 days, no refunds or course switches can be processed. There is also only one refund per course. In other words, you cannot purchase the course, get a refund, and purchase the same course again, and expect to get another refund.

Most courses have a proctored final exam. Some courses have different device requirements than others. Please read about the minimum technical requirements for the courses and the final exam.

We teach our students how to market themselves on LinkedIn, how to reach out to employers, how to prepare their resumes, how to interview, and how to get interviews. This gives our graduates a broad range of employment choices. Once a student passes the final exam, they gain access to our Career Launchpad, a job search mini-course, which covers all of this and more. In this section, all graduates also receive a downloadable CourseCareers certificate of completion.

We can't guarantee a job or say how long a job search will take. The economy and job market play a part, and much depends on the student: how closely they follow the Career Launchpad strategies, how motivated they are, their communication skills, their course knowledge, how they present themselves, etc. Every company has its specific policies on work visas, high school diplomas, criminal records, DWIs, work hours, etc., which we are not involved with.

To see what entry-level positions are available, you can search LinkedIn and other job boards for entry-level positions for the career path you are interested in.

The best way to learn about our courses is to read over the course pages and take the Free introduction courses. You can also read our student stories, look through and search our FAQs, read what people are saying about CourseCareers on LinkedIn, check us out on the CourseCareers LinkedIn page, and don't forget YouTube.

If you still need more information, ask our support assistant or email support@coursecareers.com and we will do our best to answer your question(s).
