Why does the practice exam requires me to show my ID? Do I have to show my ID to take the final exam?

Currently, we do not require students to show an ID to take the final exam. The practice exam simulates the proctoring process to ensure your computer is properly set up when it’s time for the final. While the practice exam asks for an ID, you can take a picture of anything, and it will still go through and nothing is saved. For the final exam, the ID step is skipped entirely.
